Trailer Shield provides protection for accidental damage that happens during a hire. As long as the terms are met, we're here to help get it sorted quickly and fairly.

Trailer Shield is automatically included on all Premium listings. Hirers are shown cover options at checkout, and your trailer is protected during all hires that are booked while the Premium subscription is current.

If an accident happens during a covered hire, you’ll be paid out promptly for eligible damage. That means faster resolution, fewer disputes, and peace of mind knowing your trailer is protected.

Regardless of the option the hirer selects — or if they opt out — your trailer is still protected during Premium bookings. If damage occurs and it meets the cover terms, you’ll be reimbursed as normal.

No — Trailer Shield only applies to confirmed bookings made through Local Trailer Hire. It doesn’t cover personal use, private hires, or use outside the booked hire period.
